Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: October 1, 2026. These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of findanrvtech.com and all content, features, and services made available through it (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is operated by Recreation Vehicle Technical Institute, Inc. (“RVTI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). 

1. Consent to Terms. By accessing or using the Site, including by running a search, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms are a binding agreement between you and RVTI. Please read them carefully. The Effective Date above identifies when this version became effective. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site. 
2. About this Site. This Site is a free, publicly accessible online directory that allows users to locate businesses that employ, or are operated by, recreational vehicle service technicians who hold an RVTI certification. The Site is informational; it enables users to search for listed businesses and view listing information. The Site does not facilitate bookings, payments, scheduling, reviews, messaging, or any transaction between users and listed businesses or technicians.
3. Eligibility. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that your use of the Site does not violate any applicable law or regulation. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and RVTI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. The Site is intended for use by persons located in the United States and Canada. If you access the Site from outside the United States and Canada, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
4. License to Use the Site. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, RVTI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and use the Site for any lawful purpose, including reading its content and locating RV service for yourself or for others. You may view, print, and share individual listings, and a listed business may refer to and link to its own listing.

This license does not permit, and you shall not: (a) sell, rent, lease, license, sublicense, or otherwise transfer any portion of the Site or its content; (b) copy the directory in bulk, or compile listings into another directory, mailing list, database, or lead-generation service; (c) reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, or redistribute any content from the Site except as expressly permitted in this Section 4; or (d) remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice.

5. Prohibited Conduct. You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities. These prohibitions apply in addition to any obligations imposed by applicable law.
   1. Automated access or data extraction. You may not use, develop, or deploy any robot, spider, scraper, crawler, service search or retrieval application, data-harvesting tool, or any other automated means, process, or device to access, retrieve, index, copy, scrape, mine, data-mine, aggregate, or monitor any portion of the Site or any content on the Site. This restriction does not apply to public search engines that follow the Site's robots.txt file, solely to index the Site and display search results. You may not bypass, disable, or circumvent any technical measure, access control, or security feature. You may link to any page of the Site, but you may not copy, replicate, mirror, or frame the Site, display its content within another website, or suggest that RVTI endorses you or your business, except as expressly authorized by us in writing.
   2. Misrepresentation. You may not misrepresent your identity, your affiliation with any person or organization, or any fact in connection with your use of the Site.
   3. Interference. You may not interfere with, disrupt, or impose an unreasonable load on the Site or any servers or networks connected to the Site; introduce viruses, worms, trojan horses, time bombs, or other malicious code; or attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site without our written permission. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to RVTI-info@rvti.org.
   4. Harvesting listing information. You may not harvest, collect, or compile, by any means (including manual copy-and-paste), listing information or other information about any business, technician, or other person from the Site in bulk, or use it to send unsolicited marketing.
   5. Republishing listings. You may not republish, sell, or redistribute listings as part of any directory, aggregator, lead-generation service, or competing product or service. This does not prevent a listed business from referring to or linking to its own listing.
   6. Unlawful or injurious use. You may not use the Site in any manner that violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, or that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party's use of the Site.
   7. Enforcement. RVTI may suspend or block access to the Site for anyone who violates these Terms, or the terms of any third party servicers and partners. 
6. Directory Content and Scope of Certification. The Site presents listings of business locations where, according to information provided by technicians, at least one RVTI-certified technician works. Each listing shows the business name, address, phone number, website (if any), and the highest RVTI certification level on record for a technician at that location. These listings are provided for the convenience of users who wish to locate RVTI-certified technicians. The following disclaimers apply to all directory content and are a material condition of your use of the Site.
   1. No endorsement. Other than confirming certification status as described in this Section 6, RVTI does not inspect, endorse, warrant, or make any representation concerning any listed business or technician or any service that any listed business or technician provides. A listing does not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, certification of workmanship, or guarantee of any kind.
   2. Scope of RVTI certification. RVTI certification means that a technician passed RVTI's written and hands-on examinations for the certification level shown. Level 1 certification does not expire; Level 2, 3, and 4 certifications are valid for five years unless renewed. Certification is not a representation or warranty of:
      1. the technician's current workmanship, skill level, or professional competence as of any given date;
      2. the technician's compliance with any state or local licensing, registration, bonding, or insurance requirement;
      3. the technician's current employment at the listed location, or the business's continued operation, availability, pricing, or service area;
      4. the technician's honesty, financial responsibility, or fitness for any particular job;
      5. the fitness of any service for your particular recreational vehicle, situation, or purpose; or
      6. the absence of any complaint, claim, or dispute against the technician.
   3. User responsibility for selection. You are solely responsible for selecting your technician, evaluating the technician's qualifications, confirming the technician's license, insurance, bonding, and references, negotiating the scope and price of any service, and conducting any additional due diligence you consider appropriate. We strongly recommend that you independently verify a technician's credentials, insurance, and references before engaging the technician for any service.
   4. Directory Data. Business names, addresses, phone numbers, and websites in the directory are provided by technicians, and RVTI periodically asks technicians to update where they work. RVTI does not independently confirm that a technician still works at a listed location. RVTI lists only technicians whose certification is active in its records, and certification levels reflect those records as of each technician's most recent certification or recertification. RVTI makes no representation that any listed information - including a business's address, phone number, or website, or a technician's employment or certification status - is current, complete, or accurate at any particular time. Businesses may close or move, and technicians may change employers, contact information, or certification status, without notice. If you discover an inaccuracy, you may report it to RVTI-info@rvti.org. A technician or business may ask us to update or remove a listing at the same address.
7. For Informational Use Only, Not Professional Advice. The Site may include articles, tips, blog posts, and other informational materials about recreational vehicles, maintenance, and related subjects. All such content is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not professional advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified technician, mechanic, inspector, insurer, lawyer, or other professional. You should not rely on Site content as the basis for any decision affecting the safety, maintenance, insurance, or legal status of your recreational vehicle. If you have a specific question or problem, consult a qualified professional.
8. No Party to User-Technician Transactions. Any communication, inspection, estimate, service, repair, warranty, payment, or other transaction between you and a listed business or technician is solely between you and that business or technician. RVTI is not a party to any such transaction and is not an employer, agent, contractor, broker, intermediary, booking service, or warranty provider with respect to any listed business or technician. RVTI does not arrange services and does not receive referral fees from listed businesses or technicians. RVTI has no responsibility or liability for the acts, omissions, services, warranties, representations, pricing, workmanship, insurance, licensure, or conduct of any listed business or technician. Any dispute between you and a listed business or technician must be resolved between you and that business or technician.
9. Intellectual Property and Trademarks. The Site, including its design, layout, selection and arrangement of listings, text, graphics, images, logos, software, databases, and all other content (collectively, the "RVTI Content"), is owned by RVTI, its affiliates, or their licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved except as expressly granted in these Terms.

“RV Technical Institute,” “RVTI,” “findanrvtech.com,” and associated logos, slogans, and designs are the property of RVTI. You may not use any such mark, in any form, without the prior written permission of RVTI.

10. Third-Party Links and Content. The Site may contain links to websites, mapping services, social-media platforms, or other online resources operated by third parties, including listed businesses' own websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. RVTI does not endorse, control, or make any representation about any third-party website or resource. RVTI is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website or resource. Your access to and use of any third-party website or resource is at your own risk and is governed by that third party's own terms and policies. The Site uses Google Maps features and content. Your use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the then-current Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service (https://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps/) and Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
11. Privacy. Our Privacy Policy, available at findanrvtech.com/privacy-policy, explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and your rights with respect to that information.
12. Disclaimers - AS IS, AS AVAILABLE.

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, LISTINGS, FEATURES, AND SERVICES AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RVTI, ITS AFFILIATES (INCLUDING RVIA), AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RVTI PARTIES”) DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AVAILABILITY, UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION, SECURITY, OR QUIET ENJOYMENT.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE RVTI PARTIES MAKE NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY: (a) THAT THE SITE WILL BE SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS; (b) THAT ANY LISTING, DIRECTORY ENTRY, OR OTHER CONTENT IS ACCURATE, CURRENT, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE; (c) THAT ANY LISTED BUSINESS OR TECHNICIAN IS QUALIFIED, AVAILABLE, LICENSED, INSURED, HONEST, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE; (d) CONCERNING THE QUALITY, SAFETY, PRICING, OR OUTCOME OF ANY SERVICE PERFORMED BY ANY BUSINESS OR TECHNICIAN; (e) THAT ANY SECURITY MEASURE WILL BE EFFECTIVE AGAINST UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OR USE; OR (f) THAT ANY DEFECT WILL BE CORRECTED.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE RVTI PARTIES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR ENHANCED DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, DATA USE, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS, THE SITE, YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, ANY LISTING, ANY ACT OR OMISSION OF ANY LISTED BUSINESS OR TECHNICIAN, OR ANY TRANSACTION OR INTERACTION BETWEEN YOU AND ANY LISTED BUSINESS OR TECHNICIAN, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OF ANY RVTI PARTY), STATUTE, OR OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, AND WHETHER OR NOT RVTI HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN ANY EVENT, THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE RVTI PARTIES TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OF ANY RVTI PARTY), OR OTHER THEORY, WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

THE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS IN THIS SECTION 13 APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EVEN IF ANY LIMITED REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

14. Indemnification. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the RVTI Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (c) your violation of any right of any third party, including any listed business or technician; or (d) any information you submit to RVTI. RVTI reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you will cooperate with RVTI in asserting any available defense.
15. Changes to the Terms. RVTI reserves the right to modify these Terms by posting a new version with a new Effective Date. Your continued access to or use of the Site after the Effective Date of any modified Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. 
16. Governing Law and Venue. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without giving effect to any choice-of-law or conflict-of-law rule that would cause the application of the law of any other jurisdiction. You and RVTI agree that the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any action arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be the state courts located in Elkhart County, Indiana, or the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, South Bend Division, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. To the extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site must be filed within one year after the claim arose, or it is permanently barred.

18. General Provisions
    1. Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RVTI concerning the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
    2. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law.
    3. No Waiver. The failure of RVTI to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by RVTI.
    4. Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any right or obligation under these Terms without the prior written consent of RVTI. RVTI may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction. These Terms bind and benefit the parties and their respective successors and permitted assigns.
    5. Force Majeure. RVTI is not responsible for any delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, labor disputes, utility or communications failures, acts of war or terrorism, pandemics, or governmental actions.
    6. Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
    7. No Third-Party Beneficiaries. These Terms do not create any third-party-beneficiary right in any person other than the RVTI Parties (including RVIA).
    8. Relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or franchise relationship between you and RVTI.
    9. Interpretation. The word “including” means “including but not limited to.” References to statutes, regulations, or rules include their successors.
    10. Survival. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, 12 through 16, and 18 survive any suspension or termination of your access to the Site.
    11. Corrections and Feedback. If you send us corrections or suggestions about the Site, we may use them without obligation to you.
